Harney & Sons Scottish Afternoon is a mixture of dark brown leaves, smaller pieces of Assam and Ceylon, Assam CTC (cut, tear, curl) method, as well as green flecks of broken Darjeeling. It is a strong, full bodied black tea that is meant to be drank with milk. Compared to Scottish Morn it is slightly more aromatic and mellow thanks to Darjeeling. These are 50 sachets in a resealable bag. It is also sold in 4 oz loose tea tins and 1 pound.

A portion of the sales goes to support the charitable philantropic endeavors of the American-Scottish Foundation®

Delicious afternoon break

I love this tea and have been drinking it as a mid-afternoon pick me up. It has a strong flavor that goes very well with milk and sugar but it is not bitter.

Just tastes like Black tea

I was hoping to feel some sort of difference in Scottish tea, but alas it's a pretty mild and basic black tea. It's as good as any other black tea. (Originally posted on harney.com)
