This Harney & Sons Scottish Morn is a strong black tea blend - perhaps the strongest that we offer. It is a very brisk, full-bodied tea with light aroma that delivers dark liquor. Many Scots will prefer to drink this tea with milk to lighten its flavour. This tea is packaged in a resealable bag to maintain its freshness and contains 1 lb of loose tea.

A portion of the sales goes to support the charitable philantropic endeavors of the American-Scottish Foundation®

Product Contains 1 pound loose leaf
Base A mixture of dark brown leaves, the smaller pieces of Assam and Ceylon and Assam CTC (cut, tear, curl) method make for a stronger tea
Aroma The aroma is not the focus of this tea which is why it has only light notes of malt
Caffeine Level Caffeinated
Body Full bodied
Character Strong tea that is meant to be drank with milk
Brewing Time 5 minutes
Brewing Temperature 212° F

A new favorite

I like my tea strong, and often have to double bag to get a cup I like - not with Scottish morn. It's strong enough with a wonderful aroma and flavor. I'll be back for more. (Originally posted on harney.com)

A great tea

I enjoyed Scottish afternoon and decided to try Scottish Morn. This tea was good too but I prefer the lighter flavor of Scottish afternoon.

Yum in Scottish Morn

The taste and aroma are great in the morning. I can almost see the heather. Then I took another taste and the smooth flavor brought a smile to my face. I think I like it better that any morning tea I have had. Good bye Irish Breakfast. Good bye English breakfast, Hello Scottish morn. (Originally posted on harney.com)

Robust and Delicious

This is an excellent breakfast tea that's very full bodied with a delicious, robust flavor. Special English Breakfast is still my preference, as I find it more complex and interesting to drink (Ceylon and Kenyan come through more with SEB, contributing honey/spice/malt notes) but I've enormously enjoyed every tea I've gotten from H&S and it seems you can't go wrong with any of them. I'm thankful H&S has so many excellent choices for breakfast teas. (Originally posted on harney.com)
