Harney & Sons White Christmas is a fragrant nutty Mutan white tea blend with a light to medium body that produces a darkish yellow-green liquor. It has a magical holiday nutty aroma from almonds, cardamom spice, and sweet creaminess from vanilla. The tin contains 20 silken sachets and is a great tea gift choice for the holiday season.

Interesting fact: This wonderful tea was concocted by Emeric Harney, third generation Harney & Sons tea blender. It appears that he has good memories of the Holidays in snowy Connecticut. And we are all beneficiaries of those memories.

So excited…so disappointed.

This tea is advertised as vanilla and almond. It does not mention the peppermint flavor in the background nor that it tastes more like peppermint white chocolate. My favorite tea is a vanilla and almond. I honestly jumped up and down when I saw this. I am unbelievably disappointed.

Still love it after a decade

Been drinking this tea for well over a decade and it's always so comforting. It's one of my favorite blends of all time; the sweet and nutty flavor of almonds pairs magically with white tea and cardamom. It's subtle, inviting, and honestly great all year round. Serve it on ice on a hot summer day- it's glorious, and so refreshing. I hope to enjoy it for decades to come.

This tea is not for everyone...

I bought this tea based on the very high ratings on this website, and really had to force myself to drink it. The tea’s almond and vanilla flavors were not prominent, and overall had a “musty” smell, so much so that my husband and son thought there was mold in the house and cut open the ceiling to check for roof leaks. In sharing my taste experience about White Christmas in an online tea forum, it turned out a number of consumers were similarly underwhelmed or disappointed. Smooth and Comforting
